Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing service that allows you to hold face-to-face meetings in the form of video meetings. Thus, you can stay in touch with your personal contact person at the Rehbein group at any time.
In this guide we explain step by step how to join a video meeting via Zoom.
1. You have received an appointment confirmation by e-mail from your personal contact person. To join the arranged video meeting, click on the link in the email.
2. Your browser opens. Then click the "Join Meeting Now" button.
3. You will be automatically redirected to Zoom's website, which will now try to open the Zoom app on your computer. Then click the "Allow" button.
4. The Zoom app opens on your computer and the video meeting starts automatically.
From then on, you will be in a waiting room for your video meeting. Your personal contact person (host) is informed that you are in the waiting room and will let you enter the video meeting on time.
5. Then enable the microphone and the camera:
First, click "Participate with computer audio." (microphone sharing).
Then click the "Start Video" button at the bottom left. (Camera sharing)
When this is done, your personal contact can see and hear you, so their video meeting can begin.
